THE LEARNING PATH

From First Letter to Lifelong Companion

Every student moves through the same four stages, at their own pace, with the same tutor beside them the whole way.

THE FOUR STAGES

One Path, Walked in Order

Most students move through these stages in sequence — each one builds directly on the last. Jump ahead if you already have the foundation.

01

Noorani Qaida

The foundation — Arabic letters, sounds, and joining rules for complete beginners.

Every student begins here, whether age five or fifty. Noorani Qaida builds the raw mechanics of Arabic reading — recognising each letter in isolation and in combination, mastering short and long vowels, and learning the rules that join letters into words. It's slow, deliberate work, and we never rush a student past it before they're ready.

Best for: Complete beginners with no prior Arabic reading experience
  • The 29 Arabic letters and their sounds
  • Harakat — fatha, kasra, damma
  • Madd — natural elongation rules
  • Sukoon, shaddah, and tanween
  • Joining letters into words
  • Reading short verses independently

Quran Reading

Fluent, accurate recitation with proper Tajweed rules applied from day one.

Once the letters are secure, we move into the Mushaf itself. This program builds reading fluency and layers in Tajweed — the rules that govern how each letter is pronounced correctly, from articulation points to the rulings of noon and meem. Students finish reading confidently, correctly, and at a natural pace.

Best for: Students who've completed Qaida or already read Arabic with some hesitation
  • Makhaarij — correct articulation points
  • Noon Sakinah & Tanween rulings
  • Meem Sakinah rulings
  • Qalqalah and heavy/light letters
  • Rules of stopping (Waqf)
  • Full-page fluent recitation

Hifz Program

Structured memorisation with daily revision to keep every surah secure for life.

Memorising the Quran is a lifelong trust, not a race. Our Hifz program pairs new memorisation with a structured daily revision cycle — the same Sabaq, Sabqi, and Manzil system used in traditional madrasahs — so nothing a student learns is ever allowed to fade. Progress is steady, tested, and built to last.

Best for: Fluent readers ready to commit to daily memorisation and revision
  • Sabaq — new daily memorisation
  • Sabqi — recent-portion revision
  • Manzil — long-term revision cycle
  • Tajweed applied during recitation
  • Regular examiner assessments
  • Ijazah pathway for advanced students

Islamic Studies

Aqeedah, seerah, and fiqh essentials taught in age-appropriate, engaging lessons.

Reading the Quran is the beginning, not the end. This program gives students the surrounding knowledge to understand and live by what they recite — the foundations of belief, the life of the Prophet ﷺ, and the everyday rulings of worship — taught in age-appropriate lessons that invite questions rather than shut them down.

Best for: Students of any reading level who want to build broader Islamic knowledge
  • Aqeedah — foundations of belief
  • Seerah — life of the Prophet ﷺ
  • Fiqh of daily worship
  • Akhlaq — character and manners
  • Du'a and daily remembrance
  • Age-appropriate Q&A discussion
